Is there a cooling off period when leasing a car in Pennsylvania?

I leased a car this afternoon and the dealer listed the wrong price on the contract. I did not notice this 3000.00 error until I got home. The sticker price is 28,934.00. They listed the price on the contract (three year contract and I traded my vehicle) as 32,472.07. Do they have to make the change to the price listed on the sticker as we expected the price to be? Is there cooling off period so that the price will be changed when I return to the dealership tomorrow morning?

I agree with Ms. Koslyn’s answer – there is no right to a 3-day rescission right in Pennsylvania for leasing a car unless your lease agreement specifies that there is such a right. Does the contract you signed say anything about a right of rescission? Even without that 3-day rescission right, it is possible to get out of the agreement if you can show fraud, mistake, or significant non-disclosure or concealment. In order to prevail on such a claim, you’d have to be able to show that the dealer deliberately misled you regarding the price of the car or that there was a genuine mistake regarding its price. Your best bet is to contact the dealer first thing this morning and talk to them. If they refuse to adjust the price or allow you to return the car, you should seek the counsel of a local attorney.
