If a cop wrote the ticket out to the wrong person does the ticket go away?
My friends and I (in 3 separate cars) were all headed to our friends apartment. They were following me because they didn't know where to go. A cop pulled up next to the car behind me at a red light and honked his horn and yelled at her to pull over. When the light turned green she turned into the parking lot and I turned at a gas station across the street because she was following me so I did not want to leave without her. The cop told her she was tailgating and she explained she was following me and he gave her a ticket anyway. Then while I was waiting for her in the gas station parking lot the same cop pulled up behind me and put his lights on and asked why I was swerving, which I was not at all.
