to not prescribe me anymore meds because they found out I got to 9 doctors to get additional help for my pain conditions. Was it legal for them to deny me my medications and was it legal for them to talk to my doctors about my condition?

I agree with attorney Dillingham. Everything being computerized it is easy to see when someone goes from one doctor to another to get certain prescription medications including pain meds. If they are incorrect and you are not receiving prescriptions from different doctors for the same medications, then you need to find out how to clear your name from the list. Otherwise, you may want to stop as you can get into trouble.

Not only is it legal, but you might be engaging in criminal activity by what is called "doc shopping." You should not post anything else about this issue on this Website or any other.

Yes. As the pharmacy indicated to you, databases are being compiled of patients that attempt to obtain large amount of pain medication by having multiple doctors write prescriptions. As was noted by another attorney, this may lead to your investigation by the authorities. You may want to seek out an attorney's advice about what you should do if you are investigated.
