I quit a cleaning company, who is claiming I solicited one of their customers. Many customers quitbefore I left the company.I left because I didn't feel safe working with that company anymore, for I found out they allowed us to work w women who were stealing, and 1 who was stealing and doing pills in customer's houses. Before i left a specific customer quit (1st sister),and after i quit ,this customer's Sister,(2ND sister) had ended service w this company as well. You need an attorney. If you do not have the means to hire an attorney you may want to contact a legal aid society and/or the local bar association to see if someone will represent you.

You need to find an attorney who will handle this with you.

Hello, From your description it sounds like you may have signed an employment contract with this company that contained a broadly worded "non-solicitation" and/or non-competition clause. If this is the case, you need local a business attorney that knows how to resolve contract disputes and you'll need to get a copy of the contract you signed if you don't already have one. If you tell the judge that you are trying to find an attorney and need more time to do so, the judge will typically provide you with an adjournment so feel free to ask for one. If you are in court without an attorney, don't sign anything - wait until you have a lawyer because it sounds like you need legal representation.
