My husband was driving with his foreign driving licence, he got a ticket and forgot to pay it. The second time he got pulled over by police they took him to prison for a few hours. They took his finger prints and some other information. What is gonna happen if he drives with his driving licence again? He must drive to keep his job. is there an alternative to ny driving licence?

The best bet since your husband has priors is that he contacts a local attorney and explains the situation. Most attorneys will offer you a free consultation. You must be proactive the sooner you speak to an attorney the sooner they can put you in the best possible position. I wish you the best of luck with your situation.

Your husband needs to pay the original ticket and hire a lawyer to represent him on the new one. From the information in this question it appears his privilege to drive in NY was suspended. Speak with your lawyer and give him all the information you have for a complete plan for your husband.

A lot of people don't realize that even if you don't have a New York license, New York can still suspend your privilege of driving in New York. One way of getting your driving privilege suspended is if you ignore your NY tickets.

There is no alternative to his NY driving record. He can have a license from another state, but he will have a record in New York. It is time to hire an attorney to help him. If he drives again, and is pulled over, he will be arrested again. Fix this now. Pay the past due ticket, and get representation for the new ticket. At least call for a consultation. They are free in almost all instances.

Have you husband call an experienced lawyer who can guide him the right way and get him to drive legally in NY.
